Central Lancaster High School is looking for a full-time colleague to join our school. This person will act as a part time teacher of science, who can then support the SEND department in the role of a Teaching Assistant in the remaining school hours. The appointed individual will fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document (STPCD). The individual should be qualified to teach KS3 and KS4 Science. This opportunity would support someone in gaining vital teaching experience as an early careers teacher. The remaining time in school will be as an active member within our SEND department, supporting the planning and implementation of learning activities for individuals and groups, monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback to other class teachers and establishing supportive and constructive relationships with pupils and staff.
