Students will be closely monitored and parents will be invited into the school.
Some children truant because of issues that may arise in school. Your child must not be afraid of talking to any of the teachers or staff they feel comfortable with about their problems. If they don’t talk to us, we can’t help them out. Please remember that truanting will only make things worse.
Our students are rewarded for high attendance in regular termly draws. Pupils with high attendance are presented with certificates for their efforts in regular attendance assemblies. We also have a range of trips open to these pupils at the end of each term as a thank you for their continued efforts.
Regular attendance is vital to your child’s academic and social development.
If you would like to discuss any issues surrounding a student's attendance at any time, please do not hesitate to contact the school’s Attendance Officer, Michael Aldren on 01524 32636, via our text messaging service on 07624812294 or by using the contact form below.
